Honoring Miles Middleton’s Memory

Miles Middleton was a decorated pilot, a devoted husband to his wife Pam Middleton, and wonderful father to their children Ashlyn and Sid. He was also a remarkable friend to the Tehachapi Symphony Orchestra. He was admired and respected by all for his earnest friendship, his musicianship, his integrity, and his sincere desire to help others.

Miles served as president of the Tehachapi Symphony board starting July 2025. He played viola with the orchestra for nine years, starting in 2017, rarely missing a rehearsal. During his tenure as president, he worked diligently with the board to ensure that the Tehachapi Symphony could continue to provide free concerts to Tehachapi residents and beyond. He was commited to ensuring the organization’s longevity so that musicians would have a place to perform and that audiences of all ages could enjoy live orchestral concerts.

His family has asked that in lieu of flowers, contributions be made to the Tehachapi Symphony Orchestra in his memory. Your tax deductible contribution will help the Tehachapi Symphony continue its mission of providing free concerts to the public in honor of Miles Middleton. You will receive a thank you letter with our tax-identification number. Donors names will be acknowledged in all Tehachapi Symphony programs for the 2026-27 season.
